7 inch hypercoil spring?

I just picked up a set of koni yellows and the hypercoil coilovers. The front springs are 450# and the rear are 350#. My concern is, I have 7inch springs. Is this suffice or should I get 8's?

I'm running 8" springs, and I have the perch damn near at the bottom of the threads. I have about an inch/inch and a half drop and I don't want to lower the car any more, but if I did, I don't think I'd be able to. If you run 7" springs you'll probably be have more adjustment range than I do.

The only problem with 7" springs is they come in fewer different rates. They are slightly more prone to binding, but that shouldn't be an issue unless you rallycross. One plus is that they weigh less.
