I have a 10 year old car with a well worn frame. I'm looking to bolt something on that stiffins things up a little and makes the car a little more rigid. Besides, numerous people have lifted my car using the wrong points folding the fram rails. I've been looking researching a usefull bolt on. Of course its few and far between. I understand that Tanabe might make a front and back (underbody not strut tower) stiffining kit for like 75 bones a piece. ANYBODY HAVE THIS?

the front lower brace ties the compression arms together.

the rear brace is just a solid(non adjustable) lower tie bar.
i'm sure it does a much better job than the 10 dollar ebay bars.

i have a 4 point ralliart brace on my galant. its all tubular aluminum and ties the lower control armrs together in with the compression arms. my galant has the exact same suspension as a 2g eclipse gst. its identical. same part numbers and all.

if you can find one of these, get it.
my handling and response significantly improved with the installation of it. especially steering response.
all aluminum. this thing literally weighs as much as one of my timberland boots. no shit. but its the by far the most ridgid brace i've ever touched. i can actually stand on it with it arched and it won't flex a bit. after it was bolted on the car, i can tap it with a hammer, and no vibrations at all. its ridgid

it bolts on at the through bolts for the lower control arm, then the inner bolt of the compression arm.
on the underside of it you can see where they crimped the bar to give extra clearance for oversized downpipes like mine.

seriously though don't ask me where i got it cause i couldn't tell you where to get another one.
it had oem mitsu part numbers on it for the ralliart division. but i don't what they are, and i don't care to look.

rre actually makes a 2 point lower brace as well. it looks pretty ridgid. tubular steel.

the ralliart bar looks amazing!!! i went to one of their web pages and they still sell it for the gvr4. just the trick is getting it, because i couldnt find a web page for an american office. unless you can get it from mitsu. if i could find one i would forsure buy one.
