I recently put a new set of Falken tires on my car. 1 hour after installing them I drove my car and had it aligned. After the alignment I drove around to check it. The problem is that when I am driving down the road I can let go of the steering wheel and the car pulls itself to the right side of the road. I know the road is crowned and that would cause this but it also does this while driving in the center of the road. So I took the car back and told them what it was doing and they said that it was my tires causing this because they are directional and that the car was aligned perfectly. After changing the tires from front to back and making sure the tire pressure is equal in all tires I drive down the road and it does the same thing. I am not really worried that much about the pulling of the car, although for $60 I would really like it to drive in a straight line, I don't want the tires to get eat up quickly. What could be causing this. Is this an OK thing for directional tires. Sorry for such a long post this really pisses me off.

What does the alignment print-out say? My guess is that you have some front toe-in. If it's really "perfect," then front toe should be zero.

Is your car lowered at all? If so, I know a few people that have had this problem. If for some reason that you are lowered and you hit a pot hole. The chances are slim but you can over compress the spring and blow the strut; which would cause the car to lean slightly to one side, thus pulling the car in a direction of the slant. But the chances of this is rare. Like posted before you could have the toe in-out camber problem.

The ride height is stock. The print out I got from them didn't say anything about the toe or camber. Although he told me that the camber and caster was in spec and he didn't mess with that. He said the toe was the only thing he adjusted. I didn't think about it at the time or I would have gotten a print out with the specs on it, if they even have them.
