Universal Application Coilovers?

Just wondering, someone is selling me a set of coilovers and they say it's suppose to fit all 95-99 Eclipses, even if it's a GS-T or a GSX. Is there validity to this? i've also looked elsewhere and there are different applications for the FWD Eclipses and the AWD Eclipses. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

FWD and AWD have different suspension set ups, you need coilovers for a FWD.

they will fit I believe but the spring rates will not be optimized exactly for a front wheel drive car. Not the end of the world if your only using them for looks.
