I bent one of the rims on my car and it no longer holds air, so im looking into getting some wider replacement.

Since the wheels are 16 x 8 anyone know what kind of spacers are required? Also, anyone know if the 205/55/16 tires I have will fit on them? Thanks.

Well, i guess Ill answer my own question :p

I asked someone else running the same setup, and they said the fronts dont need spacers and the rears have 10mm spacers, with the control arm notched out a bit, so i think I will get 1/2" to be safe.

Also if anyone was wondering, those tires will only fit up to 7.5 wide wheels.

Thanks for the information, Me. :p

Those rims are 8" wide....and 245s would be better....205s are not wide enough.

I got the wheels on today.. ( with stock suspension, running 225/50/16 Toyos )

I got 1/2" spacers for the rear, it clears the control arm ok, but pretty much barely.

The front rubs a lot up against the strut ( no spacers), so much that I put the stock wheels back on up front until I find another set of spacers. Also got a set of acorn lug nuts, the stock ones dont fit too well i dont think.

Ill get better pics later once I get the front rims and its not sundown washing out all my pictures. :p It desperately needs a drop.
