95 RS Struts

Have any of yall ever had the plate that's 1/2 way up on the strut (where the spring or coil-over sits) break and slide all the way down. I just got back from a friends house where there was some really rough roads and i hit on big pot hole i noticed it on the way back pulled really bad to the right, i look at my tire and its tucked up into my fenderwell which puts my front bumper less than an inch from the ground. If any one has had this did you buy the strut or can that piece still be usable or what? I do need struts but i dont have the money for all 4 of them right now

the spring perch is welded on, so if the weld broke then you'll need new struts. I guess you could try welding it back on...

anyway, you don't have to replace all four at the same time, just replace them in pairs
