pillowball uppermounts

I'm looking into buying some Tein ss soon, i have the option of adding pillowball uppermounts but i can't figure out if it's worth the extra money. Does anyone know what the advantages of having pillowball uppermounts are? does it make the ride less or more harsh?
I did i search but could not find much useful information and ther'es nothing on the tein website about pillowball mounts
