Ok, my back left shock is blown (i can move wheel up about 4 inches with my hands when its jacked up) so i would like to upgrade my suspension now. Im on a limited budget (aka cheaper is better as long as the stuff wont break in a year). I would like to do a small drop on my car and new shocks... what would you guys recomend? I plan on autocrossing the car now and then and just havin fun with it, plus its my daily driver.

Also, is it ok to do schoks now and springs later?

Ya its ok to do struts now and springs later. But keep in mind you need to have an alignment done whenever you change your setup. Go with tokico hp struts and sprint springs for a cheap budget and good ride. I will say though that is it quite a drop. Also make sure you get camber kits if your alignment is out. Don't be nieve and think you don't need an alignment, because you will lose your tires in a matter of months. Look on here and do something called a 'search' to find more opinions. This question has been asked aroudn 1.34 billion times i believe now.

And about 1.34 billion times have I had to correct someone when they tell someone with a 1g to buy tokico shocks/struts.

TOKICO DOESN'T MAKE SHOCKS/STRUTS FOR 1Gs!!!!!

okay, I'm confused... They're stating that they want a small drop and haven't even replaced any suspension components, and you're saying that "it" is quite a drop.

GR-2's and Pro-kits or Suspension Techniques springs are probably the best cheap option.

KYB GR2 from any local shop that sells KYB I paid $205 for all 4 struts. Progress Sport springs from Options Auto Salon online for $127 1.5" drop and they handle really well.

if you shop around you can get shocks pretty cheap on ebay and on dsmtrader. I got my full suspension from dsmtrader. $100 sportlines $100 KYB shocks $100 Camber kit
