I'm going to come out and say it, I don know what to do.

My problem is this I don’t know what type of spring to go with enable for it to be the best drag/street car possible. Are the eibach pro-kit ok or is the spring rating to weak? Also do you need a camber kit for the pro-kit?

Thanks guys!!

I still say don't mess with the stock suspension. It's great for daily driving, and still works good at the track. Only time you should upgrade suspension for drag racing is if you are making so much power, you are getting bad wheel hop.

I cut numerous 1.63 60's on my stock suspension and garbage tires. I've done a few 1.59's on my retreads and stock suspension. I haven't been back to the track since I put on my Eibach/AGX combo, but I will tell you this. For a daily driven car, i HATE it. Damn car bounces bad. It might be as bad for you, but I don't like it.

If you just want to lower the car for looks, get the Eibach pro-kit. It will require some rear camber correction, if you dont want to go through a set of tires every few thousand miles. Taboo Speed Shop has a nice how-to on how to make adjustable rear camber kit. Otherwise, leave it the way it came from the factory.

If the car is FWD, go buy a set of rear AGX's, then get another set of rear shocks. Make a complete assembly with the spare parts and the AGX's, then just swap em on before you go to the track. Set the AGX's to full stiff (setting 8), before you make a pass. On the 8 setting, you will feel EVERY single little crack in teh pavement tho.

Enjoy.

I have the Tokico 5 way adjustable struts, would this allong with what type of spring would give me a great drag setup?

Stock, pro-kit ect.

Also how much power are you running, because i have a simular setup and am getting it tunned soon so i was just wondering what to expect?

thanks

With similar power levels to mine, I would say stick with stock. But, each car is different. My car responds well with the stock suspension setup, plus i've learned how to launch my car well with this setup.

My last power estimates put me at about 410whp on pump gas. On race gas, I'd like to see 450whp.

so do you think the ride would be bouncy if i stiffened up my shocks?

Would this be corrections i will need?

Also if the eibach springs a stiffer than why do they bounce more than stock?
