The National Sport Compact Racing Association will be hosting an exhibition Time Attack Demo at their season finale on December 4th, 5th and 6th 2009 at Palm Beach International Raceway. The Time Attack Demo will take place on Saturday, December 5th, 2009 and will feature some of the country's fastest time attack cars battling out to set the track record at Palm Beach International Raceway. This will be a small teaser of what the NSCRA will have in store for the 2010 season where they plan on having a full schedule of events at Palm Beach International Raceway. Chris Rado will be in attendance with his record setting Unlimited FWD Scion tC. If you haven't had a chance to see this machine in person, this is your chance! From the revolutionary front spoiler to the custom fabrication that has gone into the car, this Scion tC is not only groundbreaking but a work of art to look at. So make sure you head on over to Palm Beach International Raceway to witness history along with the world's fastest sport compacts battling it out on the drag strip, full car show, hot body contest and live mobile dyno.

Anyone road coursing a FP DSM76?

Ive come up with the decision im going to be ditching my FP3065 this season for a HTA setup 30r, but i can't make up my mind and need some feedback from other people running similar turbos before i go spending any money, or even people who are running Twin Scrolls since that would be the only other way i would have it.
I originally was going to go with a HTA 3076 but when i caught wind i was going to need to change out my mitsu style FP Dsm Race Manifold for a T3 manifold i started to think well maybe ill just go with the FP DSM76 instead since i believe they are pretty much identical turbos just different style flanges. But, if im already going to pay for a new tubular manifold, makes me think i should just spend the money for a Twin Scroll manifold and go that way or do i wait another season for that and try out the HTA flavor this season?

So do i stay with my FP Dsm Race Manifold that will i wanna say close to never have the possibility of cracking and run the FP DSM76 which this way will be easiest on my budget or do i spend the extra money and pick myself up a T3 tubular manifold and go with the FP HTA 3076? :hmm: ......or do i just ditch the whole HTA idea and go Twin Scroll?

Note: Which ever turbo i choose it will be run on a built 2.0 6 bolt with E-85.
I appreciate the feedback everyone, Thank you :thumb:

I'll post up my info soon, but I figured I'd get this thread started, as I have already seen a lot of good work being done by people.

Here's one project I just finished that should be nice for when I hit the road courses.

I'm planning to get back into Autocrossing and I want to use my 2G RST for autox but its registered non-op right now and its not smog legal with the turbo kit. I don't want to go through all the hassle and cost of smogging it and insuring it if I'm just going to use it as a weekend race car.

Does anyone do the same thing. Have a non-op car just for autocross and they just drive it the autocross.

I was thinking of just getting a one day moving permit every autocross. Will this work and how does the insurance work for this, do you need insurance if you move it one day? There has to be someone people get their non-op cars to autocrosses and stuff. Like a special event pass or something.

This is in California also.
