Well by doing these I was in revers when I hear and grrrrr, then I wanted to gear first and would not go into gear so I turn it off to check if it will go into gear, it when into every single gear. So I turn the car and no into any gear, turn it off and put it into firts and it made an grinding noise, by going forward, then the noise changes to some metal loose inside. So I turn the car off and look under and found an finger from the pp. after that no more sounds, and it will shift smooth like it was before.

1 what could cause to brake with no sight could it not have play on top of the pedal, bad adjustment?
2 it's my dd so can I drive it normal?

Finally back in stock!

CompWorks laser cut valve cover baffles are made for those that are installing AN fittings or are having your valve cover powder coated ETC. This insures that there is no possibility of media, metal shaving or any foreign objects trapped under baffles. Many people have had nice engine destroyed by powder coater who failed to keep media out and up until now if you put an fittings on you pretty much had to leave off the baffles.
Ok, so I was swapping out a motor, 96 to a 98 motor, figured I'd replace the clutch as well with an OEM clutch.
Got everything dropped back in the car, hooked up linkage, and I double checked the gears by running through them, however it only goes into 3, 4, 5, and R while doing it in the car.

If you go in the bay, and disconnect the up & down linkage, the tranny will shift into those gears. The position the stick is in the car is also off.
It's too far up to the front of the car.

It's too far up to the front of the car.

When I have a bud hold the shifter in neutral inbetween 3rd, and 4th, I put the shifter on the tranny at the same place, but the linkage is way far off. Like its too long.

Is it possible cause its not hooked up at the slave yet?
The tranny has had 0 issues ever. Didn't mess with the linkage at all. Took the 2 12mm mount bolts off the tranny to disconnect it.

Any input would be sweet. Thanks.

I got it towed to my local repair shop, and they diagnosed it as a bad ASD relay and replaced it. I got it back today, and it drove better than the day I got it. I went to work tonight, and while I was working my shift it rained really hard. I went out to start the car, and it wouldn't work again. Could my brand new ASD have just gone bad? I really think this has something to do with water, because it seems to give me issues when it is raining out.

These are parts off of a 2008 Chevy duramax 6.6 bus that we have. Used it as reference when I ordered new parts from general motors. I had to remove about a half an inch off the bottom of the banjo bolt and used a thread file. Screws right in and should function normally. Only have yet to bend the piping in the correct orientation for my coolant hose routing.

I have DSM Link version 2.5 and am not to sure where all the values is supposed to be at but since I haven't made any adjustment to it I am thinking its electrical or a setup issue. The only thing else I can tell you is when its cold (has not run in a day or so) it was rev up to about 1500 rpms and then just drop off to about 400 rpms and die or spit and sputter and surge to 2000 rpms and then drop off again. It will do this until its warm.

When I am looking at my dsm link while its running my 02 voltage stays at a steady .04 volts no matter what I car is doing.

When I bought the car last year it ran mint and the guy I bought it from had it tuned at BP performance in minneapolis. I would bring it back to them but they are 3 hours away and I don't have a trailer to get the car down there.

I have checked for leaks and am not to sure whats my next step. I can drive the car but it just doesn't perform half as good as it used to...

I didnt see any fluid under the hood by the master or by the slave so i believe the seals are good. The master still bleeds back into the reservoir fine. Did I maybe snap part of the fork off in the bell housing? or kill the throw out bearing? Any advice would be awesome, just trying to avoide pulling the trans for something simple.
