I finally got the car running but the headlights and taillights and turnsignals wont turn on neither will my parking lights or my accessories (a/c fans and domelights along with the lights on the knobs for the a/c fans) however the light on the a/c button works and the instrument panel lights work along with the dimmer switch. Now I tapped into the headlight harness to get the lights to work by connecting them directly to the battery they worked but the longer I let the car run and drive the dimmer the lights got. It killed my battery so with a fresh battery that is holding 12 volts I tried to see if the new battery made a difference and no difference so I used a multimeter to read the battery and even with the car running it stays at 12 it also doesn't drop when I turn the light switch to the on position. So what now please help tuning you.

Charging issues could be caused by a bad alt. You should be charging at atleast 13v.

However, all of the listed accessories should work at 12v. Checked all of the fuses? Replace any blown ones and if they blow again, the hunt for shorts starts. If there's a short that bad, you should be able to sniff it out while the fuse isn't blown, if it doesn't go out too fast.
