Check fuse #11 it is an 10amP fuse. It powers on thru the Ignition switch with a Black/White wire to to the Cluster, from there it powers the check engine light bulb and output on Red/Green wire to Pin #64 at the PCM to complete the circuit.

Fuse kills all the warning lights. I guess I have a short somewhere in the harness. I checked the cluster for continuity. Where is a good place learn to read my electrical manual?

Start at the library and get some books on "basic electricity". Read through those and get your self a good "test light" and Volt/Ohm meter. From the service manual towards the front they give you an illustration on "how to read circuit diagrams", you could go over that too. Start to familiarize your self with the illustrations and use the internet for help searching for information.
