That was the car by itself. Compression is 9.0/1 because of the wisco's. The tune is conservative, its a new motor (built it over the winter) and I need it to last. Tuning a car on the razer's edge is not my thing. Im not going to give out any specifics because I tune cars for a living, so its a matter of job security. Your right, the key is to get out of the hole hard as hell.

2700 is pretty light with a 2g. Was that with you in the car or the car by itself?
My 1g laser's race weight is 30lbs more than that w/o me in it, so thats some nice weight reduction.
I see the mods "listed" but what Im wondering is how hard your pushing that tune, and how high the compression and any tricks in the motor/turbo or anything that makes it above average? From what I can tell, most of your success on such a quick time is because you have mastered how to get that thing out of the hole like a missle

Wow I never saw this, very nice car. Im on a quest for mid 11's up in this altitude on a 16g. I also no someone running that much boost. I always tell people the key to holding boost is getting it to spike as high as you can and it will hold more to redline. He has ran 45psi spike all year road racing and the turbo is still in good shape. He says mitsubishi engineered the 16g real well and it can handle it.
I was spiking to 30+ and holding 26 to redline but a pesky boost leak popped up and it just hits 28psi than jumps between 24-26psi trying to build more. Once I get that fixed I'm going to shim the wastegate so its pretty much closed and add timing from my 22* to 26*. Hope I can get a good time at the track.
