I have a pair of 280's in my car. Only problem is I do not have a video camera or anything to get a sound clip from. It sounds very nice btw.

I'm wondering why 280's for a 2.4? Aren't 280's for the widest powerband?

Brian recommended them for the "stroker" setups. They are comparable to the FP3x's but without the use of dual springs. I'll probably only be revving to 7K and 7.5 on few occasions.
Also, the reason i didn't get the 272's was because with the added airflow and putting out more displacement it would basically have the same powerband of the 272's on a 2.0L while still flowing more then the 272's. right? I might be horribly mistaken.
It has been said that balanced 2.4L's can rev to 8.5K. Although i won't be. Also, I might be stepping up turbo's in the future and will be looking for flowing more air. 280's will compliment that as well
Patience on the sound clips, it'll probably be another week. We are having an incredibly "fun" time cleaning my engine bay etc.

It's been a while, just wondering if you had a chance to get vid or even sound clips yet.

I've got a set, however my car is appart. I can tell you that you can drive the car with them and they are very very loapy. Sounds like a V8 on helium.
I have an AEM so they may not be as streetable without a standalone.

My engine is at the machine shop right now but I am getting a set of 280 cams as well. As soon as I get everything back together I'll post up a clip too.
