Weve got some color sprayed people. Color is Nissan GTR Gunmetal, with a little custom metallic to it. Cost about $100 for my gallon of it. That and some nice high grade urethane clear coat, should make for a nice shiney tough finish.
teaser pic, high res shots to come.. Also, doesnt look that shaved, however i probably filled 30 or so holes. WAY to much grinding, filling, and sanding... NEVER will i do that much again.

Finally started welding the manifold, as well as got the wheel wells undercoated, and the front bar undercoated. Only got two runners welded up, but should have it finished on tuesday. Also got the wastegate finally, a Turbosmart ultragate. Pics do more explaining. I also managed to get stuck in the engine bay while installing the trans. Good thing im skinny!

Thanks! Im VERY excited!
Got the radiator mounted, as well as the wastegate bits welded. the manifold is 100% finished. I might have it coated in the future, but for now its done. Next up is the exhaust, which will just make a hard left, and go out the bumper. As soon as i get a little $$ to spend, ill buy oil/filter/antifreeze, and be able to fire it up. Heres the pic

Thats pretty sweet!
Does the turbo inlet sit right where the fog light hole is? Or are you going to have to cut the bumper slightly?

Thanks guys! Crash, there is a pic somewhere in the thread that shows turbo placement. Its basically between the vent, and the fog light hole. However ill be filling both the vent holes, and the fog light holes. The bumper will be smooth and flat with the exception of the intercooler opening, and a 4" hole for the inlet.

Got some more work done. Most of the time has been spent on the bumper, but i dont want to spoil it, so no pics of the bumper till its done. However, i did get the fuel system finished, and wastegate/bov lines made. I didnt want to just use hose barbs and rubber tubing for the lines, i wanted something a little flashier than that. So i used the nylon braided line, and 4AN fittings! Didnt get any pics of the fuel pump setup, but i welded a 6AN fitting to the sender unit, with a 1/2" line feeding it. Intank is a TRE342, outside the tank is the new walbro 400LPH inline.
For a boost controller i have a greddy profec b spec2, which obviously i dont have the solenoid installed for. Im going to run wastegate pressure for a few hundred miles(15psi), and get everything sorted. (More like make sure everything wont fall apart!)
Also got the 10AN fitting welded to the Valve cover. I learned, well re-learned that out VC's are made with cheap aluminum, and dont weld very well to 6061. However, i managed to get her did n done..Hah Ill be using the vibrant exhaust/crankcase evac scavenger, instead of a massive catch can setup. Never used one before, so we shall see how it holds up.
Also, fuel rail fittings are also welded on. I have a ZERO leak tolerance!
The downpipe, is also my entire exhaust setup , Straight out the bumper!

So much nice work. I see your using v band clamps. Will they have enough flex to handle the engine movement?
