I know making you go back is not going to happen but that Balance shaft metal block off seal is said to be a no-go. instead people use the OEM rubber one which allows flexibility to prevent a leak. Maybe it will hold as good as a freeze plug... who knows.

also since we are on that note, did you make sure your stubby shaft has the oil groove and its not solid? again watch out for non OEM stubby shafts. you dont want to tear everything down again because of cheap parts (or expensive low quality parts for some people who dont know how to shop )

Damn, I haven't posted on this thread in a while. Sorry bout that guys. Just been busy with some other stuff. But I started working on the project these last 2 weeks and finally got it done pretty much. Everything's plugged in. But i need to do some little fixes here n there. Re-do my fmic piping, and other little things. I got anxious today, and wanted to start it, make sure I had spark n fuel after all the cutting and soldering I did in the past year, that was my biggest fear , some kind of short but thankfully, it started right up after little more than a year of the motor just sitting. Anyway, I started it without a downpipe. But so far so good.
Enjoi the pics, lmk what you guys think
