hey yall, this has been asked like a MILLION times! but I just got done putting in my 90 trans and X-Case into my 92. heres the problem, I can get into 1st and 2nd gear no problem. 3rd is alright, 4th is REAL hard, and 5th and R I dont think I can even get to it.

I herd about adjusting ur Cables. but Witch way? shorter, Longer??

ok, Got some more stuff done today. I can drive it. But I have to switch gears VERY quickly. As to not let the up and down Lever ( on the Transmission ) to move to far up or to far down. If this tranny was a junk yard tranny, and they got a 92 or later tranny, how can you tell with out counting the splines????? It seems that no mater what I do to Adjust the Cables, I just cant get it to go in gear.
