Princeton,
I am putting my tranny in again, and am wondering if you guys with experience have made or know of any stupid mistakes, like not greasing the throwout bearing? can you give me a list of things to make sure, I would hate to have to take it out again.

You pretty much got it. Torque the flywheel and preassure plate bolts in sequence to torque specs, make sure all the dowls in the flywheel are not damaged or missing, make sure you use a clutch allignment tool to align the clutch disk.
