diff ratio question

I thinking about change my FWD to AWD. My question is:
all first gen DSM AWD had same ratio rear ends? or there was difference?

i think there was a thread a while back about switching from fwd to awd. i think defiant may be right. If I remember correctly, the biggest issue is the fact that the spare tire well in awd's is higher than fwd's, which creates more room for the rear axle. This seemed to be the biggest obstacle to overcome, it required cutting the old well out and welding a new one in. 2 much work.
