shift kit for a 1g

i am looking into buying a shift kit how much do they run and where can i buy them

Extreme Motorsports sells a short throw shifter that is basically a cut down stock shifter. I had one in my 92. Worked very good at the track, but it was kind of a bear during daily driving.
Mofugas sells a actual short throw shifter for the GVR4 that bolts into a TEL. You just have to cut down the top section because it is taller to fit the GVR4. There is a vfaq on the install.

I recomend replace the shifter base bushings with either the symborski shift kit from machv or the es poly bushings from Road Race Engineering. That does a lot for feel.
