So I drove down to Santa Ana to get my shift kit and end clutches installed. Overall, the install was great and the shifts are firm. Thanks to Dean Mason for doing the install for me. I would have taken a really long time to do what he did in 2 hours. Shift points are now decreased, and downshifting is very responsive with the BSOD. The black spring isn't as bad as everyone says.

We drove the car before and after the install, and there was a night/day difference between the two test drives. I would recommend this kit to any automatic owners.

This is high on my list of upcoming mods. Since Charles at plymouthlaser.com doesn't do shift kit installs any more, he recommended Dean. Any idea how much Dean would charge just to install the kit into a valve body I would send him? I know, I should just ask him directly, but this thread is right here in front of me.... :D

Around $250 dollars or so.
