New Bedford,
Hey all. Everytime i take off or let off the gas really fast i hear a clunking sound coming from my rear differential. ( car is awd) Could this be my gears? Thanx

There possibly could be too much play in the rear differential. But I'd most likely look for a bad U-joint. Just have to pinpoint the location of the clunk. If its in the driveshaft you'll have to take it out to test the joints to find the bad one.

um, your driveshaft is moving up and down cause your rear carrier bearing could be bad... its pretty common, (if that is what u are talking about) goto vfaw to the drivetrain and carrier bearing repair thingy
