Heres what s up, I bought my car with a blown transfer case and just got my new one, i put it back in and filled it up with gear oil and it started shooting out the top when it was full, I have no idea where the hole connects to? Anybody know??????? this is probably the reason the thing blew in the first place because the engine was replaced before i got it and they probably f&^$%d up dont know if i can just plug it or need a breather or if needs to go the tranny or somewhere if anybody know let me know, want to get the thing on the road tommorow, thanks guys, Later -- Brandon

There should be an almost mushroom looking rubber breather cap on it. Follow the service manual specs for fill proceedure. I tend to run a touch more lube than the book but there are limits. You can have too much.

Ok, so it doesnt connect to anything? It is just a breather, I lost my chilton, I'll get another one,Ok man i appreciate it, thanks
