I have a 1995 GSX Eclipse My most recent problem is the tranny. I ended up blowing some teeth off my third gear so my questions are....

Do you think anything else was damaged by breaking that gear???

I cant figure out how to get the reverse indicater sensers plug off so I can take out the tranny How does that thing come off(I Know its Easy Just Cant Figure it out)???

Do you think that a peice of ply wood under the oil pan is enough support after the tranny is removed????

Possibly. It all depends on what those bits landed between.

Ther is a release tab on the connector

No.

Thanks for the quick responce now is the tab just a push button on the side??? Im not looking at it now but I worked on that thing for 10 15 minutes and it still wouldnt move it seems theres a metal ring going around it does that have to be removed???

I'll go look at mine. There might be.

Reverse just has a plastic tab that should be facing the front on the end of the connector with the wires coming out of it.

The speedo drive might have a clip.

Just unbolt the whole thing with a 10mm socket and remove the whole sensor.

Just one more question one the drivers side axle in the front is it reverse threaded meaning ill have to loosen right instead of left?????
