Are the 22 spline JDM transfer cases interchangable with the 22 spline domestic transfer cases? My transfer case just died and looks to be a JDM kind, its cast iron, 22 splines, and has the 2WD/4WD switch. Can I use a normal 22 spline?

thanks

Thanks for the reply, do you know the easiest way to find out the ratios ?

Yes, make marks on both splines (input and output). Turn (and count) the input spline as many time as needed to make one comlete revolution on the mark on output spline (the output mark will move a bit with every intput spline rotation). It should be around 28 turns to make the output mark to go completely around.

Then, compare it to the other transfer case.
