I am getting a new clutch put in soon, and i am looking to do everything that i can to stiffen up the shift linkages. I have seen the symbroski shift kit (or however you spell it) and i was planning on purchasing one, is there anything else that i should buy while i am at it??

symbroski kit, a short shifter (pacesetter is what i have) and the speed source bushing kit. tranny will shift like never before.

Also there are little things that you can do to make your shifting better. The fork that on the trans that holds the link. Remove the one side of the rubber bushing and put a washer instead in place. Get the trans mounts.
