I have a 99 GSX with no tranny problems except the transfer case has stripped out where you bolt on the bolts for the transfer case to the tranny. We helicoiled it once already and the bolts stripped again, so I'm wondering if theres anywhere where I could get a new case. Any help is appreciated since i live in Colorado and its almost snowing. I'd like to have an AWD car to drive.

Yes, you can purchase a new bellhousing, you still need to completely disassemble the transmission to swap the part, as well as install new seals, install the bearing races, etc.

Bellhousing - MD739932 = $587.08 list new + tax
driver side axle seal - MD719710
output shaft seal - MD723202
input shaft seal - MD741818
tcase bolts (long) - MD718549 x 3
tcase bolts (short) - MF241319 x 2

I wrote jack an email and he hasnt answered.

How about drilling and tapping it to the next SAE bolt size? I believe I used a 1/2-20. I had to take a 1/2" bit and ream a few thousandths off the t-case hole cause it had a small amount of material on the very edge...

Which hole? Can't you get the the backside of a couple of them and use a nut if the 1/2" bolt isn't large enough? There are dowels so its not like you can misalign the t-case.
