I'm replacing the drivers side axle since the CV boot failed and the joint is now a rusty needle bearing stew. Anyway, can't seem to get the cup off the intermediate shaft...any advice?
 
Just in case anyone else has this problem, you have to drain the tranny and then pull the intermediate shaft. It took a BFH and some time to beat the cup off the intermediate shaft...whack! rotate whack! rotate etc... Anyway, I got the car back together and it feels much better.
