Grinding

hey boyz,,,need a hand with a little problem...

im drivin a 91 talon tsi awd...my tranny is grindin hardcore when i downshift, my clutch feels really strong when shifting normally and just everyday driving but as i downshift from 4th to 3rd, and from 3rd to second, it grinds,,,now im thinking the clutch mite need to be bled? has anyone any advice for me to try to fix this the easiest way because like i said i do not think the clutch is shot, mayb ejust needs to be bled,,,thanks everyone, PM me or email at [email protected]

I've heard of a lot of people having this problem and think its just one of those unsolved DSM mysteries. I heard of people replacing the whole tranny and still have it grind. Mine grinds when I shift from 1st to 2nd. I used GM Synchromesh and that fixed it. Give it a shot, there is alot of people who use it and say it works like night and day.

how much is that syncromesh stuff???? My 95TSi does it all the time into 2nd, I have to pause in neutral before I put it in 2nd, so annnoying.
