Ok, I am very new to DSM's, in fact I am just picking mine up on saturday. I have only used redline fluids in the past on my other cars, and wanted to to an overhaul of my car once I get it. It is a 96 awd talon, my question is what fluids do I use where on these cars.

I have searched and found how to change the transmission fluid. I assume that I should use redline MT-90 MANUAL TRANSMISSION LUBRICANT, but I have also heard in other cases to use75W90 GEAR OIL, if this is the case which one, for lsd or no lsd. The transmission should take about 2.3 quarts correct?

Now, what the hell do I put in the transfer case and rear diff., and how the do you do that? Is this where the gear oil should go?

I know these questions sound dumb, I really am not, I am just new to DSM's.

BG syncroshift or GM syncromesh.

IF you wanna know where and how to drain and fill them get a Chiltons or Haynes manual. They have drain and fill holes. Since the fill holes are on the sides of the cases you wont be able to just pour the fluid in. I suggest you get some sort of pump. I got something that looks like a grease gun, (except its more like a syphon) with a rubber hose that fits in the holes.

gm syncromesh for what, I know that it can go in the transmission, but what about the center and rear...I did not think that they would like that
