I have a automatic 97 talon ESI when I let off the gas say to go around a corner or for whatever reason and get back on gas easy not racing or anything somthing in the tranny/engine seems to jolt (don't know what word to use to describe it) but it just doesn't feel right I don't believe it did this when I 1st got the car maybe it did? It doesn't happen all the time just some of the time is this normal or what?????

Thanks for your time:)

My sister has a 97 eclipse, I've driven it a few times and it recently started doing the same thing, she hasnt had it checked out yet but, no its not normal. I think it might be the tourqe convertor, get it checked out.

I had someone check the car out a few months ago they drove it and said they didn't feel anything odd. I think they where full of s**t or maybe it didn't do it to them. Tell me if you find out anything about your sister's car. and thanks

Does anyone else have any ideas????

Mine also does this though it's a very different car.
Mine seems to be related to the idle problem I'm having.
When I can get it to idle right it stops.
Also does it when the ECU is reset(battery disconnected)
then stops after a few days.
Maybe TPS?

Well theoretically, when someone drives a car everyday they tend to notice every single thing that feels different, and if someone else drove it and didnt notice anything maybe its not really a big deal. So just an idea unless theyve never even driven another talon/eclipse then yes, they wouldnt have a clue if it was normal or not. But my sisters car anyone would notice the problem. later
