Simple quearions about the swap

just thinking about it.

Can i keep my transfer case?
Do i just change the differential in the rear?
Can all the other parts, pedel assemply, shifter and what not be purchased? or do i have to hunt them down?

Hmm what else?

oh yeah, how does our trany work? i mean the shifter moves what? one cable? how does it seledt gears... i really dont understand how transvers transmissions work... only big ol detrioit ones

If your tranny has the same splines as your transfer case then you can keep your transfer case. Yes all the parts an be purchased at satan, and most could be purchased through an auto parts store. The internals in the tranny work the same as any MT but the linkage is sideways, there is just a couple bars that connect to the shifter and the tranny.
