my 1st problem i had a stock clutch....and bad tranny....

at first my transmission was bad, it rattled, it wouldnt go into 1st gear correctly, 3rd gear would make noises goin in .... i told my uncle who is the mechanic... he said i need another tranny......

okay so i changed the clutch 1st to a centerforce dual friction...... it doesnt grab low tho... it grabs high... =('... its been a month... i raced some kid with a slow ass golf... and my clutch slipped when i redlined and shifted into 2nd gear..... i was  ..... what could be the problem?....i put fluid in the hydrolic thing also..... deff need help with this.....

2nd problem..... im driving on the highway.... some hyundai tiburon puts the hazards on with a autozone tip exhaust im like o man......

im in 5th cruisin at like 50~55.... im like o man this kid wants to get beat downshift to 2nd... redline upshift to 3rd adn 4th.... spanked him.... flashed the hazards.... i stop to get a bite to eat..... turn the car off.... go back in the car .... go in reverse... transmission rattled badly....... go in 1st shift at 3,000 ... 2nd... slipped i heard something like crack.... im like wtf... i stopp at the light open the hood... i see transmission fluid leakin slowly ..... im like dam man.... i blew the tranny i think

im goin to change the transmission to another used one probably....but does it have to do anything with the flywheel not re-surfaced that the clutch doesnt grab right?? thanx guys i really hope u can help... manny

thanx alot.... i woke up in the morning ... drove around a lil bit and the transmission seemed to make a lot of noise..... hopefully i can find one used around in the junk yards.... and i will tell my uncle to resurface the flywheel...

Putting some heavy weight gear oil in there should help you get around till you get a new tranny. :D

sounds like you need to adjust the clutch pedal as well if it was grabbing high and bleed the system when you put the new tranny in

how do i adjust the clutch pedal.. if my transmission is hydrolic... and how do i bleed the system? i reallly dont know much...im going to take my tranny off and then take pictures on monday or tues... and u guys can tell me what could be wrong thanx guys i aprreciate it

you adjust the piston in the master cylinder to adjust the pedal heighth... to bleed the system, you push down the pedal, open the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder, close it back up, lift the pedal. make sure you have fluid in the resevoir. repeat.
