bought the pressure plate with street disc about 1.5 maybe 2 years ago... I put maybe 100 miles on it and could never figure out the issue with it...

seems to not fully disengage and also only starts to disengage about 1/4 way from the floor

The flywheel has the correct step
new master cylinder
new slave cylinder
neither is leaking
new pedal bushings from shep
tried using a longer slave rod
shimmed the pivot ball

still for some reason the problem was there, the only way I could even get the clutch to disengage enough to shift and move down the road was if i adjusted the master cylinder rod all the way out to the point of it being on the last thread or two.

I decided to build the engine and have since bought another clutch..

I gave the clutch to my friend and he is having the exact same issue. :banghead: So I figured I would post this up and see if I could get any if on it here. I read the 5 threads related to 2600 issues but no info that helped.

this has now been on two different flywheels as well. :ohdamn: same issue... I am totally lost now

any ideas.

are all four of the transmission to engine bolts in? Even the 12mm one above the transfercase on the back of the block that goes threw aa hole in the block and threads into the trans, this bolt threads into aluminum and strips easy. A friend of mine years ago strips his out and had the same problem your having, we now call that bolt THE BOLT because of all the trouble it causes, he must of pulled the trans 6 times be fore we figured it out, if you dont have ALL four bolts in the trans will push away (hinge) from the block because the force from the pedal pushes the trans and motor aprart instead of disengaging the clucth. Its easy to forget a bolt if you havent pulled a trans on a awd dsm before
