Transfercase Fill Question

I was just wondering if it was okay and even possible to fill the transfer case from the breather? My filler bolt is beyond stripped (not my doing) and im pretty sure it's close to being empty at this point in time so it NEEDS filled...but i'm trying to NOT take it off.

If anyone has imput on this please let me know because i am about to buy some rubber line as a funnel.

At my current location i have no tools let alone a jack.....which is why i was wondering about the breather....which i already filled from there.

I did however buy the rear and front seal for the xfer case and intend to rtv the yoke as soon as i get the chance because its got a pretty spectacular leak.
