well first off im trying to finish a build up of a 94 plymouth laser 2wd. Literally all that i have left is to find an axle for my car and i can start driving it. Now the problem im having is i cant seem to find an axle that fits my diff and is the right length. it all started out as just a torn boot and i was going to replace the whole thing, trip to the parts store later and i had my axle. but unfortunately is was the wrong spline count and the parts store had already sent off my old axle. i checked my drivers side to find out it was a 27 spline diff side and 25 on the hub. just for kicks and giggles i stuck it in the passenger side to make sure that it would spline up and a 27 spline is what i needed. ive tried 7 different axles now and the closest i could get to finding was about a half of an inch to long. so i was wondering if anyone had any insight. im pretty certain by now that it has a different diff and im trying to find an alternative to the 400 dollar drive shaft shop axle. i tryed frankensteining my own axle but the ends wouldnt fit. so if you have any advice or have been through this trouble please help LOL. unfortunately i dont get access to the internet often so if you could text me at 509-952-7458 id apprecciate it. if not i just have to wait for a solution

there is but it matches the dsm tag on the firewall, and the parts guy from mitsubishi says that wont aid him in finding me the right axle

thank you for your offer, but i finally found an axle. believe it or not the axle that ended up being right was listed in the book as being to long and the wrong spline count
