Please help my find a HUB!!
Basically, I took my knuckle and hub to a machine shop to get a new bearing put on. They said the hub was shot so I ordered one from the dealer. Now the dealership called and said its on back order - AFTER I next day UPS'd it!
Now its one day before I want to leave for shootout. Does anyone know how I can get a hub quickly??
Btw, none of the local junkyards have turbo DSMs and the owners barely speak English.
Please help!!

Local auto parts stores may be able to get them in quickly - Napa, Autozone, Advance Auto Parts, etc.

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're saying. What do you mean they say "dealer part"?

Is that what their websites said or did you call a store? I've gotten 2g hubs from a parts store but not 1g so I'm not sure.

They have different part numbers according to caps, but that doesnt alway mean that they dont interchange.

Yeah, ONE of the dealerships I spoke to said:
If it is FWD, its just ABS vs. Non-abs, 90-94
If it is AWD, its ABS vs Non-abs, 90 OR 91- 06/30/93 OR 07/01/93 - 94
But why would the HUB be different for different years, as long as its non-abs like I have?

So basically, disregarding the ABS vs. NON-ABS - does anyone know if there are definite differences in HUBS between years or between FWD and AWD??

all 1g awd knuckles supersede to the same part number in caps no matter of the year or options.
LH part number MB518227
RH part number MB518228
same deal with fwd
LH part number MB518139
RH part number MB518140
I dont know what the difference is between fwd and awd knuckles though, only that they have different part numbers. I dont have any 1g fwds.

Try car-part.com. There are some spindles on there. $50-$100. Couple of them were in milwalkee, but the farthest was i think 65 miles away. I didnt know which side you needed or if you wanted an abs or non abs one. Most of the time a junk yard will leave it as an assembly.
