Tranny locked, but shifts fine

Rebuilt tranny, installed it, it shifts through all the gears, but even in neutral if you drop the clutch it dies like you had the brakes on. The wheels don't spin(by engine power) even with all 4 jacked up. They spin freely by hand, just not by engine power...
