Would anyone know the transaxle drain plug size ? I need the sive and thread pitch to order a mangetic plug for my transaxle.

YES, I did search first :)

He was asking for the thread pitch and length, not the head size.

I really don't think you're going to be able to find a magnetic plug that big. Plus, would there really be any benefits seeing as the plug doesn't sit all the way at the bottom? I would be more worried about my oil than my transmission.

Thanks guys, :thumb:

I have a mag on my oil pan drain......was just thinking that with all the issues with the transaxles,:( a mag couldn't hurt. But would need the thread and pitch to locate one online.

what you could maybe do is drill a hole in that drain plug and like jb weld a magnet in it...if that would would I wouldn't see why it wouldn't

Yep, I am considering doing that, but getting one already made would be faster and cleaner.
