anybody know where I can get a set of Jun 272 cams for a 1g? i have heard awesome things about them, and heard that they easily out perform hks 280's.

You should look at what subject you should post something like this in; cams are not drivetrain.

Here is a dynograph of just one test done by AMS concerning 272's vs. JUN stage 3's:

Jun cams run around $700 a pair. Brian Crower 272's or 280's are ~$350, and HK$ 272's or 280's are $~600.00, FP3 or FP4's are $429, DKS 2 or 3(ffwd connection) regrinds are $350.

Do some research. To run the Jun cams as well as any real cam, to get the most out of it, it is really recommended to upgrade your valvetrain (springs and retainers). The key way to get the most out of any of these cams is to have a properly built engine, proper turbo selection based on each camshafts characteristics, with aftermarket valvetrain and cam gears; and professional dynotuning. It is all in the TUNE.
