I have a 91 auto to manual swap. Went well beforei had to bleed the clutch, got NO pedal, its a Fidanza fw with a Dynapak(stock) clutch. I tried a few tricks, to get the shift fork to go out "all the way" I wedged it while bleeding, was able (after 3 hours to be able to shift into gear w/ car running except rev. tried to bleed in further and failed. havent went to sleep yet so its time now, questions and/or comments lemmie know.  :toobad:

You need to finish off the bleed. When you believe you have all the air out of the line, hold the pedal down on the last stroke after you open the bleeder. Then push the rod on the slave all the way back into the slave while leaving the bleeder open and close the bleeder while holding it all the way in. The slave will still have a small amount of air in it after bleeding and this will get rid of it.

Ill try that btw the rod was adjusted to 3 different lenths...same deal.

Tried it, got nowhere, getting a new slave tomorrow. Its cheeper then the master and easier, If that doesnt work getting a new Master.

no wetness there at all. Im suspecting that im losing pressure back through the resevoir but i don't know. tomorrow im gonna try to install the new slave and bench bleed the master. At first I found that the flex line had a rupture that was replaced with one off of my talon, so no more line leaks anywhere. Not to experienced with manual transmissions as i work on Jags, LR's, and Volvos (Rare to see a manual) But from what i have come to understand a slave is only bad if it's actually leaking. I'm going to do a "full bleed" afterwards ie: bench bleed of master, standard bleed and what you said with the slave. and btw-just so I can get it over with and be done, how many threads should you see coming out of the fork on the adjustment rod?

ok, well there is a lil wetness after 3 or so pumps i missed it last time on the master. I got the new slave installed. got it to the point where I can't put it into gear while running, but if I start it in gear it doesn't lunge, but you barely lift your foot and it begins to release. And also my pedal linkage ###### needs to be welded also(got some play) all of this is with the adjustment almost all the way out. Getting new Master on Saturday. The adjustment out will counteract the pedal lossness for now till i get it fixed. Well I'll keep you posted.

All is well, Except now it doesnt boost till damn neer redline!!!!!!
