need help!!!

ok guys ive been looking for a tranny for my 99 GSX for about 6 months now and i havent been able to find a single one. ive been looking on ebay, here, web pages, just about any place i can think of. i really dont feel like spending the $2400 for the stage 1 from shepard because im getting an EVO within the next year and selling the eclipse to a friend. i really have no idea where else to look.. any help much appreciated.

I would try local junk yard. I have found countless parts for my car there for a fraction of the price.

believe me ive tried junk yards. around me, eclipse engines/ trannys are torn out the second the car arrives. im lucky to find a trunk lid by the time i get there..
