Ok I just got my Polyurothane motormounts. And I was wondering how do you install them?

the Front and Rear - are just inserts (ie: look like they just go over my stock rubber) - is that correct?

the left and Right side look like they actually replace the rubber already inside the motor mounts?
How do you get the old rubber out and how do you install the new?

Thanks for the help.

I had mine installed by some guys at the mitsu. dealership. It takes about an hour and costs around 100 bucks. They used an engine support to hold the engine up just enough to pull the bolts and swap to mounts. It's not a ploblem for them because they do it all the time. If you do it yourself it's going to be expensive and a headache.
BTW you'll feel the good vibrations once they're in.....and less wheel hop.Good luck:D

Getting the old rubber out of the side mounts can be alot of fun. The best way that I've found is to cut or melt the old rubber out. Then take a sawsall or rotory cutting device to the metal ring that is left inside. Cut a line through it from one side to the other... then it will tap right out w/ a hammer. It's not that hard at all if you do them one at a time using a jack to support the motor. Good Luck.
