Im getting my clutch done at a speed shop a centerforce dual friction and the mech. says I need a flywheel that my old one cant be turned how do I know he is telling the truth. The reason is he says he can get a performance lightwheight flywheel for only 780 ha . Please any input ....

If the flywheel is in good condition then they can resurface it and use it again. 780 for a lightweight flywheel is expensive. You can get a fidanza for 425 from dsm-performance.com

It is possible... but highly unlikely on '99 car... They are probably trying to sell you a new FW. Ask them if they already tried machinning it and is the "step".

If they are, Fidenza FW is one of the best alum. FWs out there and it cost $400-$450. I am not sure where they are getting $780 FW.

Will they let you bring a FW that you got somewhere else?
