I'm installing an ACT 2600 and a new throwout bearing, fastener, ball (with a 1/8" shim) and fork on my 95 gst..
At this point I can't remember wich way the fastener spring is supossed to be facing.
Away from the fork or towards the fork.
Pictures anyone

You have the spring on the throwout and at tranny end of throwout and you clip the spring into the fork into the fork holes.

Is the transmission end the one closest to the spline???
Is that what you mean?
Thanks!!!

You are talking the clip right. it goes on throw out bearing. It has two little ends that have to go into the fork holes.it sits at passenger side of throw out bearing.under some small tabs. I don't think it is that necessary but I put it on there anyway.
It was hard to get a good pic just sort of had to figure it out.
