3rd gear issues

Hey tuners

So my car is sick, still.

During race type accelleration Stick won't go into 3rd, have to double pump the clutch.
Under normal load driving everything is fine.
Recent ACT 2600+streetdisk+clutch mastercylinder.

Any thoughts? missing 3rd sucks, thats my sweet spot for a front wheel drive

So, would this be a linkage adjustment issue, or a syncro issue ?

Dude, the new rule on the forum is castration for thread bumping...So be careful. Haha. I think that it would most likely be the syncros though if anything. I doubt its anything to do with the linkage or the fluid or anything, since it is only happening in 3rd. But you might as well check that stuff as it takes about 14 seconds altogether. How many miles are you on your car/tranny?

You should check over everything before you decide to get a new transmission. I was a few days away from having to get a new one and I decided to go through everything, I found some loose nuts in the transmission that cured all of my shifting problems.
