Syncro In First

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF FIRST GEAR IN A 91 TURBO HAS A SYNCRO. I GOT MY TRANS FIXED and it is grinding when i put it in to first, they dude told me their was no syncro. , just to make sure i am not crazy. I KNOW THERE IS A SYNCRO IN FIRST>

try this drive the car, at normal speeds up to a stop sigh. bring the car to a complete stop. then put the car in neutral. then go to second then first and see if it grinds. if not its the syncro.also change the tranny fluid

it grinds in first when i am at a stop, just replaced the tranny fluid yesterday

go to second gear first, from neutral then go to 1st. then see if it grinds.

you're first gear synchronizer is gone. that comes from forcing the car in 1st gear wile the car is on motion

is that from down shifting. Here is the whole deal. I got my trans rebuilt. I got a ACT clutch. The put a new shifter fork in also for 1st and 2nd, the dude was supposed to replace all sycros. This was like 5 months ago. SO i took it back no lie like 5 times. And the **** is ****ed up. Now he is telling me that , first gear dont have a syncro. . GUess i am going to court. U know anyone who wants a gst 91 . I put some money into fixing this thing up . KILL MY CAR

yeah, these trannys are pieces of crap. Mine grinds going into second over a certain rpm so I have to granny shift from first and cant use second to downshift My 93 had all sorts of tranny probs too
