ACT 2900 & 6 puck problem

I just get my car four day ago after the clutch kit installation which i order from import evolution. I have a new OEM master and slave pump install together with steel braided hose.
First time i press the pedal it feel 5 times harder than my exedy racing clutch and it only disengaged until i press the pedal to the floor. :mad: :cry:
The clutch pedal has been adjusted to highest possible and the pedal assembly has been check for any problem also the plate mount has been strengthen with extra plate. I have running the car for this four day and nothing change still hard as hell and disengaged at the floor.

BTW, I'm using a std VR4 flywheel. should i skimmed the flywheel. what is the measurement to machine the flywheel. If this will effect the clamp force when I'm changing the Clutch plate to std Mitsubishi in the future.
 
Flywheels should always be resurfaced. I have mine stepped to .612"

And did you bleed the lines? If you installed a new master/slave cylinder, you need to bleed the lines.

You didn't expect a 2900 PP to feel an gentle as stock, did you? ROFL
 
I don't expect the clutch will have a stock feel... even with exedy racing i have 2 times more than stock.
The clucth fork broke yesterday.... it seem to be the reason why the clutch won't disengaged.... it touched the bell housing.
I took off the tranny today and sent the flywheel for resurfaced at 0.612" stepped... and change the fork and pivot ball.
I'm thingking of adding a washer to the back of the fork to compensate for the resurfaced flywheel... what do you think...
 
Just got the flywheel from the machine shop, they had to it twice to get the 0.612" stepped that i want.
seem that a custom made fork using a stainlesteel and harden will be more reliable than using an OEM fork even the cost will be more than less the same.
