Hey guys,

Im helping out my friend with his project 95 GSX and when we go to bolt up the intermediate shaft, the bracket doesn't line up. The bracket is about a fingernail to to left of the holes and im sure i have the shaft firmly pused into the tranny. My friend says it wasn't connected when he bought the car in the first place. He has a 6 bolt swap.

Is it possible that the intermediate shaft is the wrong one for the car? The 6 bolt is from a 91 and i have no idea what year the intermediate shaft is from. It could be a 95 or a 90 or who knows.

Would it be ok to just fab up a braket to just keep it in place?

Any help of info would be appreciated

Well...i messed with it enough to get the bracket within 2-3 tenths of the holes on the block. I ended up just widening the holes in the bracket a little. Hopefully this doesn't cause me much of a problem....i pray.
